Molly was born in Pennsylvania and started to perform professionally as a teenager at Philly's Prince Music Theater. Her first production as a professional was The Snow Queen. After that, Molly played Little Red Ridinghood for the Arden Theater s Into the Woods and was nominated for a Barrymore Award. It was recast when Molly made her Broadway debut in Into the Woods at Broadway in 2002. The show won her an award from the Drama League Award for this performance. Molly has also appeared as a character in The Broadway production of Fiddler on the Roof in 2004. After that, she went to Princeton University and was a member of Princeton's Triangle Club. She graduated with a Bachelor's degree in 2008. She graduated in 2008 with a B.A. During this time she also appeared in a film for the first time, Disney s College Road Trip as Wendy Greenhut.
